Around 30 years ago, a young man in his late teens came to North Cyprus on his own from Turkey to attended the American University. Alongside his studies, he started to take a keen interest in the property market and worked part-time in a local estate-agents. He fell in love with the country, decided that he wanted to stay and started planning for his future. He lived cheaply and saved his money and 5 years later opened his own small estate agents and called it Nokta.

The young man’s name was Alfa Kaynakkan and over the next few years he developed and built his business into what became the best-known Construction and Estate Agency name in the country.

Almost 10 years ago, Nokta had outgrown its old home and opened its doors at new premises (built by Nokta Construction), just 100 meters down the road.

Today, Alfa continues with a hands-on approach to the running of his business and insists upon meeting all his customers at the first available opportunity. The philosophy of Nokta and all who work there is the philosophy of its founder and owner - Alfa: “ We try very hard to understand what the customers wants and then work even harder to deliver it”.

Alfa has made his life in North Cyprus, has a growing family and is a well-known and respected member of the community. “Nokta has been the foundation of my happy and successful life here, please let Nokta serve you as well as it has served me”.

Most organisations involved in the property business in North Cyprus specialize in either Estate Agency or Construction. Nokta is different, having played a key role in both Estate Agency and Construction for over twenty five years, the advantages gained from combining both businesses provides great benefits both for ourselves and our customers.
